Sergi Mingote, lecturer and Executive Coach for The International School of Coaching. He is graduated in management by ESADE and holds a master’s degree in International Cooperation and Management of NGOs and non-profit associations.
Currently, he is the ambassador of the Olympic winter candidacy “Pirineus Barcelona 2030” and the president of ONAT Foundation, an organization that dedicates its efforts to social inclusion through sport.
Sergi Mingote is an elite mountaineer and an ultra-endurance athlete with 10 eight-thousanders. Among them, a double ascent to Everest on both sides and the ascension to K2 alone, without bottled oxygen.
He stands out for making the first journey of the millennium to Magnetic North Pole, and for being a finisher in Ultraman and Ironman.
He has also completed the journeys to Gobi Deserts, in Mongolia, and Djanet in the Sahara Desert. He has crossed the Strait of Gibraltar swimming with the Paralympic champion, Miguel Luque, and has also made the Southern Patagonian Ice journey.
He has completed the Trans-Pyrenean, the Trans-Romantic, the Tour of Mont Blanc and the integral return to Mongolia by bicycle. He is double Champion of Spain of Ultra resistance in tandem, next to the adapted cyclist Joan Soto.
It has reached the “Roofs” of the 5 continents and he has achieved more than 20 ascents to mountains over 6000 meters. He has done ice climbing on more than 50 difficulty routes, including the Polar Circus in the Canadian Rockies, and different routes in Swedish Lapland.
